On 30 June and 1 and 2 July, the Sant Cugat Campus will play host to the fourth edition of the Biomedicine Student Conference - CEBUIC, an initiative organised by students from the University’s Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences. Under the title “Nurturing the Minds of Future Professionals”, the conference has established itself as a multidisciplinary forum designed to connect biosciences students with prominent researchers and professionals from the biomedical field.
Over the course of the three days, a series of lectures and workshops will be given by researchers and experts in leading fields such as oncology, genetics, neurology, bioinformatics, biomedical entrepreneurship, cardiology, microbiology, psychology, cell therapy and regenerative medicine. The Conference will also feature dedicated sessions which will explore the various career paths available in the biomedical sector, with a view to guiding future graduates as they transition to the world of work.
The line-up of activities, which will run from 09.00 to 17.00, will include plenary lectures, conferences and flash talk sessions. Participants will also have access to networking opportunities and social activities, fostering direct contact and the exchange of experiences between attendees and speakers.
The Conference represents a unique opportunity at the University to discover the sector’s latest trends and build connections with the scientific community.
