Dr Román Pérez, vice-rector for Research, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer and director of the Bioengineering Institute of Technology at UIC Barcelona, will formally take his position as full professor.

Dr Miguel Ángel Mateos, assistant director of the Department of Bioengineering and researcher in the Bioengineering Institute of Technology at UIC Barcelona, will be tasked with reading Dr Pérez’s merits.
