JUBILO conference – Wellbeing and transition to retirement

The Department of Psychology and the Salud y Persona Foundation are organising the conference “JUBILO – Wellbeing and transition to retirement”, creating a forum for discussion on the transition to retirement and highlighting the importance of supporting this process through an approach centred on people’s wellbeing and health.

The programme includes a round-table discussion on ageing in the workplace, alongside the presentation of findings from the JUBILO study, led by Universitat Internacional de Catalunya in collaboration with the Salud y Persona Foundation. The event will also bring together a range of experts and professionals to reflect on this stage of life, offering insights, practical guidance and recommendations to support a more effective transition to retirement and to foster environments that promote and sustain people’s wellbeing.

Programme

09.30 – Participant arrival

10.00 – Welcome and opening address by Javier Mirallas, chair of the board of trustees of the Salud y Persona Foundation

10.05 – Round table: “Ageing in the workplace”
Moderated by Javier Savin, psychologist and clinical director at the Salud y Persona Foundation.
Speakers: Helena Martínez, Head of the Senior Talent Programme of the PIMEC Foundation; Teresa Rutllan, director of psychology at the Salud y Persona Foundation; Silvia Munné, senior coaching specialist: and Núria Iglesias, Human Resources Co-ordinator at the Head Office for the Co-ordination of Local Police Forces.

11.00 – Presentation of findings from the JUBILO Project by Dr Iris Crespo, lecturer in the Department of Psychology at UIC and the project’s principal investigator.

11.30 – Conversation: “Life experience” 
Dr Iris Crespo in conversation with Federico Gómez Sáez, a retired physician and healthcare adviser to the police.

11.55 – Closing remarks by Joan Piñol, director of the Salud y Persona Foundation.

12.00 – Coffee
