The Just and Resilient Carbon Neutral Places Institute (JURECA) is co-organising the Primavera R Festival, an event focused on climate action and urban resilience, led by Lorenzo Chelleri, lecturer at the UIC Barcelona School of Architecture.

The event will take place on 15–16 May 2026 at Nau Bostik in Barcelona and will provide a networking space for engaging with key stakeholders from different sectors linked to climate resilience. Primavera R connects practice, research and governance through a range of initiatives related to climate action, community resilience and urban transformation, with the participation of local government bodies, neighbourhood associations, cooperatives, institutions and research groups.

The festival is organised by the Urban Resilience Lab Barcelona, a non-profit knowledge-transfer laboratory focused on climate resilience in the city, with the support of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and Barcelona City Council, among other institutions.
