Welcome week for exchange students who are undertaking an international mobility stay at UIC Barcelona.  These welcome sessions will be held in person although anti-Covid measures will be fully respected.

The welcome sessions are divided between degree programmes, and you can find out which yours is according to your study programme by checking the list below.

• Welcome Session for Polytechnic University of Turin students
  • Date: 1 September
  • Location: Barcelona Campus (Carrer de la Inmaculada, 22) Classroom A302
  • Time: from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
     
• Welcome Session for international exchange students who are taking a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management.
  • Date: 1 September
  • Location: Barcelona Campus (Carrer de la Inmaculada, 22) Aula Jardí
  • Time: from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.
     
• Welcome Session for international exchange students who are taking a bachelor’s degree in Humanities, a bachelor’s degree in Communication Science or a bachelor's degree in Law.
  • Date: 2 September
  • Location: Barcelona Campus (Carrer de la Inmaculada, 22) Aula Jardí
  • Time: from 10.30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
     
• Welcome Session for international exchange students who are taking a bachelor’s degree on our Sant Cugat Campus.
  • Date: 2 September
  • Location: Sant Cugat Campus (Carrer Josep Trueta, Sant Cugat) Classrooms P0A01 and P0A02
  • Time: from 10.30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
     

The Welcome Week will end with two workshops and a guided tour around Barcelona.  These activities are aimed at all exchange students from all degree programmes and will be carried out on the following days:

• "Catalan for Dummies" and "Culture Shock" workshops
  • Date: 3 September
  • Location: Barcelona Campus (Carrer de la Inmaculada, 22) Aula Jardí
  • Time:
    • Group 1: "Catalan for Dummies" workshop from 10.30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and "Culture Shock" workshop from 12.30 to 2 p.m.
    • Group 2: "Catalan for Dummies" workshop from 3-4.30 p.m. and "Culture Shock" workshop from 4.45 to 6 p.m.
       
• Barcelona city tour: Guided tour of Barcelona on a bus with an official guide
  • Date: 4 September
  • Meeting point: Passeig de la Fontana (Barcelona Campus)
  • Time: from 10.30 a.m. - 2.30 p.m.
