This postgraduate degree will provide you with the academic capacity to teach the Catholic religion in pre-primary and primary education.

It will also provide you with knowledge on religion, the Christian message, the Church and the foundations of childhood psychology as applied when teaching religion.

The programme was created in accordance with all the requisites set out by the Spanish Episcopal Conference (SEC). For that reason, this postgraduate degree will allow you to obtain an Ecclesiastic Declaration of Academic Competence (DECA).

This postgraduate course is aimed at university graduates with backgrounds in education who are interested or experienced in imparting Catholic teachings in educational contexts.
The course curriculum addresses the essential aspects of the religious disposition, the Christian mission, knowledge of the Church, and the foundations of child psychology applicable to religion classes.

Postgraduate Admission Requirements
To enrol in the postgraduate course, you must hold a degree in Early Childhood and/or Primary Education.
Required documentation
To begin the process, you need to submit:
- 2 passport-size photographs
- A copy of your ID (DNI or equivalent)
- Baptism certificate
- Updated CV
- A copy of your teaching degree (Early Childhood or Primary Education)
- Basic knowledge of Catholic faith and morals
- A motivation letter explaining your interest in the programme
Final interview
The admission process concludes with a personal interview.
