Five students from UIC Barcelona have been selected for the CYD Foundation’s Mentoring Programme

The programme connects university students in their final year with professionals from companies and institutions that are part of the Board of Trustees of the CYD Foundation

Students Ainhoa Lucas Delgado (Audiovisual Communication), Pablo Ruzafa Palomar (Audiovisual Communication), Enric Masclans Planas (Humanities and Business Administration and Management), Valeria Campi Coronado (BBA + Industrial Production Engineering) and Claudia Soriano Serbosa (BBA + Industrial Production Engineering) of UIC Barcelona attended the inauguration of the CYD Foundation Mentors Programme on 16 April. At the event, the students were able to meet the other 35 selected students and hear testimony from mentors from other editions.

Sònia Martínez Vivas, Director of the CYD Foundation, and Cristina García Ungil, Head of Communication of the Foundation, moderated the event that took place in the Uría Menéndez auditorium (Barcelona). 

The event brought together this year's participants, who were able to meet and hear the testimony of mentors and mentees from other editions: Ana de Castro, Chief Communications & ESG Officer of Havas; Salvador Sánchez-Terán, Managing Partner of Uría Menéndez; Pilar Villacorta, Director of the academic sector of IBM for Spain, Portugal, Greece and Israel; María Cabeza García, graduated in Law and Business Analytics from the Pontifical University of Comillas; Covadonga Díez Cubillo, graduated in Telecommunications Technology and Services Engineering from the UPM; and Alberto Schoch, graduated in Law and Business Administration from the Carlos III University of Madrid.

The CYD Mentors Programme adds value to university knowledge and early work experiences. The forty mentors will participate in the six month programme of learning and self-discovery and will be accompanied by thirty recognised professionals from entities such as Antolin, Boston Consulting Group, Caser Seguros, Cuatrecasas, EY, Goldman Sachs, Havas, IBM, Microsoft, Pascual, San Pablo CEU, Telefonica, Uría Menéndez and Veolia.
