UIC Barcelona among the 20 best universities in Spain according to Forbes
The University appears in the Forbes list for the fourth time and for the third consecutive year, recognised for its strong graduate employability and international outlook
Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC Barcelona) has secured its place on the Forbes 2026 List, which identifies the 20 best universities in the country from among the 92 institutions included in the Spanish university system. The list brings together the top-performing institutions and is presented in alphabetical order.
Forbes compiled this ranking using a methodology developed in collaboration with higher education experts, based on a questionnaire sent to universities registered with the Integrated University Information System (SIIU), using data from the 2024–2025 academic year. The evaluation draws on more than 50 indicators, grouped into five areas: affordability and access, student experience, career readiness, teaching and research quality, and international outlook.
In its assessment of UIC Barcelona, Forbes highlights the university’s personalised approach to the student experience, its high undergraduate employability rate (93.75%) and its strong international profile, supported by 497 mobility agreements across 63 countries.
UIC Barcelona’s inclusion on this list reinforces its standing as a university committed to high-quality, personalised education with a clear focus on employability, alongside research that addresses current social and professional challenges.
