The aim of this project is to provide the Department of Territory and Sustainability of the Government of Catalonia technical advice as part of the programme of strategic projects for the Metropolitan Region of Barcelona. This involves supra-municipal areas that play a role in boosting the Catalonia’s economy and require new methodological bases in order to be developed. In this regard, the Regeneration of Intermediate Landscapes (RIL) studio at the UIC Barcelona School of Architecture implements the master plans for three strategic areas at every level of design, including: landscape architecture, urban design, and architecture.
