Regular physical activity improves the prognosis of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). However, there is a lack of effective procedures for helping such patients maintain or reach adequate levels of physical activity. This project focuses on assessing the effectiveness of a training programme that uses public spaces and urban trails, and adapts to each patient-s needs and capabilities. It also addresses social and environmental determinants of physical activity in COPD patients by means of quantitative and qualitative analysis.
