Introduction
Executive production is the directly business-related part of any project, but it is also a field in which creativity is essential. Producers must be able to turn their own ideas or those of others into reality, and to do so they must have a thorough understanding of all the creative processes involved in audiovisual production, as well as the various legal, economic and business issues that directly affect the development, production and distribution of the project.

Having successfully completed the course Audiovisual Production I.
Objectives
- To understand the fundamentals of executive production and its role in the development of audiovisual projects.
- To acquire a comprehensive understanding of the different stages of audiovisual production, including development, pre-production, production, post-production, and distribution.
- To analyse the organisational, financial, and logistical aspects involved in planning and managing audiovisual projects.
- To apply theoretical and practical production knowledge to the planning and management of film and audiovisual projects.
- To understand the main challenges, constraints, and complexities involved in the development and production of audiovisual works.
- To develop the ability to identify and propose strategies for addressing production challenges in professional contexts.
- To recognise the importance of planning, team coordination, and decision-making in ensuring the feasibility and success of audiovisual projects.
- To develop a critical understanding of the role of the executive producer within the contemporary audiovisual industry.
