Professional experience

In my current role, I manage a team of 5 people who's goal is to protect the IP generated in the Center.
Moreover, I also review legal documents related to technology transfer, including NDAs, license agreements, and reverse licenses, ensuring they align with institutional policies and objectives.
I negotiate agreements and licenses with counterparties, managing legal and commercial aspects to support effective collaborations.
I design and implement the center’s trademark protection strategy, identifying potential risks and determining appropriate actions.
I analyze open source licenses for compatibility and advise on dual licensing possibilities to balance openness with proprietary interests.
I support entrepreneurs in creating spin-offs and facilitate the transfer of technology from the center to these new ventures.
I also deliver training sessions and workshops for researchers and staff, focusing on intellectual property rights and best practices in technology transfer.
Additionally, I contribute to the development of internal protocols, guides, and best practices for the implementation of the AI Factory initiative.
In my previous roles, I was primarily responsible for managing a wide range of trademark-related matters, including conducting in-depth trademark reviews and availability searches to support brand protection strategies. I regularly drafted and filed writs before national and international trademark offices, ensuring procedural accuracy and legal soundness. My work also involved direct negotiations with counterparties to resolve disputes and reach favorable agreements, as well as preparing and issuing cease and desist letters to enforce clients’ intellectual property rights
effectively.
