Assistant Professor at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, with a background in Biology, a specialization in marine biology, master’s degrees in Marine Ecology and in Statistics and Operations Research, and a PhD in Health Sciences. My professional career has focused on university teaching, biomedical research, and methodological and statistical consultancy in health sciences. I currently teach biostatistics, epidemiology, research methodology, and project design, mainly in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the health field.

I have participated in competitive research projects and national and international collaborations. My research activity is mainly focused on clinical epidemiology, quantitative methodology, instrument validation, predictive models, and statistical analysis applied to health research. I have also undertaken research stays at institutions such as the Karolinska Institutet and the University of Barcelona, and have supervised numerous bachelor’s and master’s theses.
