The "Living Together" social programme

The “Living Together Programme” is a non-profit intergenerational programme involving accommodation being shared between older people and young university students.  The older person hosts a student in their home in exchange for their company and the individual help they agree on, and there is no financial exchange between the two sides.  It is a social programme that provides mutual help.

The duration is generally a minimum of one academic year, but this can be extended for the remainder of your degree programme, but there are certain commitments you have to make (that you spend six nights a week in the hosts home and arrive home no later than 22:30 in the evening).

In 2019, 111 pairs of people lived together, a total of 222 people.
