Round table: Sustainability, University and Religions

Faculty of Education Sciences | Office for Cooperation and Sustainable Development

To celebrate the inauguration of the Thinking Classroom on Sustainability and mark the end of the Season of Creation, the Faculty of Education Sciences, in partnership with the Office for Cooperation and Sustainable Development, has organised a round table to reflect on the contribution of universities and religions to comprehensive sustainability from different perspectives.

  • Dr Carme Llasat Botija, full professor of Atmospheric Physics at the UB
  • Mons. Joan Costa Bou, lecturer in the Faculty of Theology of Catalonia and Diocesan Social and Charitable Pastoral delegate in Barcelona
  • Patricia de la Viesca Cosgrove, technical coordinator for the Government of Catalonia’s Directorate General for Climate Change and Environmental Quality
  • Dr Sílvia Albareda Tiana, senior lecturer in the Teaching of Experimental Sciences and director of the Office for Cooperation and Sustainable Development at UIC Barcelona
