The Faculty’s admission, endorsed by an Expert Review Committee and formally ratified at the Annual General Meeting held on 8 June 2026 in Seville, represents strong international recognition of the institution’s commitment to excellence and quality in business education.

Membership of this influential global network will enable the Faculty’s lecturers, researchers and professional staff to access a first-rate international community, facilitating the exchange of best practice, pedagogical innovation and the development of joint research projects. This strategic alliance will also create new opportunities for international visibility and graduate employability, connecting students with a global ecosystem of leading business schools and corporations.

With this new affiliation to EFMD, the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences further consolidates its position within the elite of global executive education. This important milestone adds to other strategic recognitions achieved by the Faculty, which has been a member of the prestigious international association AACSB since 2024 and has recently been awarded its first Palmes of Excellence in the distinguished Eduniversal ranking, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to quality, internationalisation and continuous improvement.
