The University Master’s Degree in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry has once again been ranked among the top five in the 250 Best Master’s Degrees ranking by ‘El Mundo’
Alongside the Faculty of Dentistry’s programme, which remains in third position within its field, two other programmes are also among the top five: the University Master’s Degree in International Cooperation in Sustainable Emergency Architecture at UIC Barcelona School of Architecture, ranked second in Design and Architecture; and the University Master’s Degree in Arts and Cultural Management, which appears for the first time in the El Mundo Master’s Ranking, in fifth position in the Cultural Management category.
As a key highlight of the University Master’s Degree in Periodontics and Implants, the publication notes that four lecturers from the Faculty – including Dr José Nart, head of Periodontics and Dr Alberto Monje, a lecturer in the same area – are featured in the Ranking of the World Scientists: World’s Top 2% Scientists, compiled by Stanford University, which brings together the most influential researchers worldwide.
Regarding the University Master’s Degree in International Cooperation in Sustainable Emergency Architecture at UIC Barcelona School of Architecture, El Mundo emphasises that the course Humanitarian Shelter and Settlements, one of the modules taught on the programme, is certified by the IFRC (International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies).
The University Master’s Degree in Arts and Cultural Management also appears for the first time in El Mundo’s 250 Best Master’s Degrees ranking, where it is placed fifth in the Cultural Management category. The publication highlights the opportunity to participate in a study trip to Hong Kong, as well as the possibility of undertaking a double degree with Boston University in the United States.
