UIC Barcelona presents eight innovation and entrepreneurship projects at 4YFN
4YFN 2026 will take place from 2–5 March at the Gran Via exhibition centre in Barcelona, within the framework of the Mobile World Congress (MWC). UIC Barcelona will present four research projects developed at the University, three start-ups led by former students and one project created by a group of students currently enrolled on one of our degree programmes.

UIC Barcelona launches the project ‘Rethinking Mobility’ in Calonge and Sant Antoni
Students from the 7th edition of the Master’s Degree in Architecture & Design Business Management, organised by the UIC Barcelona School of Architecture, began the programme this January with the project “Rethinking Mobility”, a proposal that combines architecture, design, management and real territorial impact, developed in partnership with the Calonge and Sant Antoni Municipal Council.

22nd edition of the Barcelona Ceramics Chair focuses on improving public spaces with ceramic elements
The winners of this edition are Olivia de Burgh, Andrada Dumitriu, and the team of Lucía Blanco and Marina Mañanes, who presented their projects to a jury comprising Fidel Vázquez, director of Urban Projects at Roca Sanitarios, Adrià Guardiet of 08014 Arquitectura, and Manel Peribáñez of BCQ Arquitectes.
