Collaborate with solidarity this Christmas

At UIC we have a challenge:

Fill 100 solidarity boxes so that 100 families can enjoy a Christmas lunch.

Participate in the food collection from 17 November to 2 December, at the collection points you will find on the Barcelona and Sant Cugat campuses.

We need:

  • Cooked pulses: chickpeas, beans and lentils
  • Tins of peaches and pineapple
  • Tins of sardines and tuna
  • Selections of biscuits
  • Torró de Xixona and other assorted nougat
  • Neules (traditional wafers)
  • Polvorons (crumbly Spanish almond shortbread)
  • Bottles of oil

You can also join the challenge by making your donation here. For the benefit of families of the Acció Social Montalegre in El Raval and families of the Associació Ginesta in La Guineueta.

Write Christmas cards

Wish a Merry Christmas to elderly people who live in care homes.

  • Wednesday, 10 December at the main entrance to the Sant Cugat Campus.
  • Thursday, 11 December from at the main entrance to the Barcelona Campus.
     

Charitable outing

Participate in the different solidarity outings scheduled for these dates:

  • Saturday, December 13: distribution of food drive packages to needy families with Acción Social Montalegre.
