Extracurricular traineeships

Erasmus+ Extracurricular Traineeships enable students from UIC Barcelona to gain practical work experience in another country in Europe. Unlike the curricular traineeships, this practical work experience will not earn you ECTS recognition.

From 2 to 12 months, depending on your area of study. Ask the academic coordinator at your faculty or the International Relations Service for more details.

Yes. The amount of the grant will be set according to the destination country, with a monthly payment ranging from 400 to 500 euros. An additional allowance of up to 250 euros per month may also be awarded to participants with fewer opportunities .(Ministry grant holders, people with a recognised disability of 33% or above, etc.).

The total number of funded months will depend on budget availability.

A single travel allowance will be added to the monthly amounts, calculated according to the distance travelled and the mode of transport (green or non-green).

Students are advised to attend the mobility information session corresponding to their degree, read the latest mobility call, and consult the Moodle virtual campus for detailed information.
