UIC Barcelona students take part in an “Assessment Centre” Workshop, a staff selection method used by large companies

The activity was organised by the UIC Barcelona Career Services, with the aim of preparing students to successfully navigate high-level recruitment processes

On 20 November, more than 50 students from different fields, including Business Administration and Management, Health Sciences and Communication, took part in a workshop on assessment centres, one of the selection methodologies most widely used by large companies.

The activity was organised by the UIC Barcelona Career Services, with the aim of preparing students to successfully navigate high-level recruitment processes.

During the session, the students explored the different types of group dynamics commonly used in these processes, worked through practical cases based on real situations and received guidance on how to stand out from other candidates in future assessment centres.

The activity was led by Inés Martin and Claudia Garcia de Pomar, professionals from Talent Point, a consultancy firm specialising in selection and training that works with large companies to help manage their recruitment processes.
