Reading is more than just words: it is a tool to think, imagine, and grow. It will help us better understand reality, share ideas, reflect, and build a more just, humane, and caring society.

Sign up for the reading group and make your voice count!

The reading group can grant one credit and a maximum of two ECTS credits if:

  • You read at least 3 books: 1 ECTS credit; if you read 5 books: 2 ECTS credits.
  • You complete the corresponding technical sheet, which will be provided by the coordinator.
  • You participate in the corresponding literary meeting, having registered and signed the attendance sheet on the day of the session.

The coordinator will certify, based on the submitted sheet and the student’s participation on the day of the literary meeting, whether the book has been read or not, and will report it.

Coordination:

Lecturer Andrea Rodríguez-Prat, passionate about reading, is the current director of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Thought (CIP) and lecturer in Philosophical Anthropology.

Holding a degree and a PhD in Humanities, she is also a researcher in the WeCare Chair: Care at the end of life. She has carried out studies on dignity, autonomy and the desire to hasten death from an empirical and philosophical perspective, combining different methodologies: systematic reviews, synthesis of qualitative studies, empirical studies and philosophical analyses.
