Titled “Professionals facing palliative care needs and suffering”, the 10th edition of the international workshop will focus on the systematic needs assessment in people who need palliative care, as well as supporting the professional in ethical end-of-life decisions in the face of suffering. During the workshop, new evidence will be provided and discussed by expert panels and its impact on patients, professionals and families will be seen through in a participatory methodology with attendees.

The workshop will have a multidisciplinary perspective and is open to professionals in medicine, nursing, psychology, social work, nursing assistants or other professionals who have contact with patients at the end of life. Students from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences can also participate.
