9th Edition of the Filmmaking Showcase
The Faculty of Communication Sciences is once again hosting "Filmmaking", an extracurricular project led by students on the Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Communication. The idea behind the event is simple: to recreate iconic and technically challenging scenes from classic films and series.
Both the technical team (director, director of photography, wardrobe, etc.) and the artistic team (actors and extras) are made up of students from the Faculty. "Filmmaking" is an excellent opportunity for students to experience first-hand the work involved in producing and shooting a film, and it also a great way to develop teamwork.
This year’s showcase is being coordinated by Ignasi Guerrero, creative director at btcom and a UIC Barcelona graduate. The scenes being remade come from La La Land, The Queen’s Gambit and Psycho. The students' work will be screened on 2 June at 18.00 in the Aula Jardí, on the Barcelona Campus.
