Final Jury: Metabolic Materiality course
On 26 March, the Metabolic Materiality course ends with the presentation of projects developed in this elective in collaboration with CEMEX, Pich Architects And UIC Barcelona School of Architecture.
Throughout the course, students have worked on a key question: how does our future coexist with the environment? The aim was to rethink the relationship between architecture and sustainability through proposals that analyse flows in three areas: materiality, infrastructure and territory, placing special emphasis on socio-ecological interaction.
The eight presented projects explore innovative solutions for a more resilient architecture, using a multi-scale approach to identify materiality as a tool for climate change mitigation.
