Stop-CSAM Conference: Prevention of the consumption of child sexual abuse and exploitation material
This event, organised by the research team from the Department of Medicine who led the STOP-CSAM project, aims to present the results of a randomised clinical trial of online psychotherapeutic intervention for consumers of child sexual abuse and exploitation material.
UIC Barcelona has led the evaluation work package of this pioneering study funded by the European Commission, and for the first time in Spain, the research team, led by Esperanza Gómez, will share the findings of this work, offering new tools and strategies for the prevention of sexual violence against children and adolescents.
The event will feature Antonio Andrés Pueyo, a lecturer from the University of Barcelona, who will highlight the importance of an integrated prevention strategy, drawing on his role as a leading voice in this field.
