Training Session: Responsible Use of Screens in the Classroom

On June 2nd and 17th, the Teaching Quality and Innovation Unit of UIC Barcelona organizes a training session about one of today's major educational challenges: the responsible use of screens in the classroom, as part of the TENEX project (The Next Generation), linked to the UIC'28 Strategic Plan.

This session, aimed at all teaching staff (PDI), will analyze how to adapt teaching to the needs and behaviors of Generation Z, which presents both challenges (such as demotivation or lack of attention) and opportunities (technological skills, creativity).

Two leading experts will participate:

  • Cristina Galván, pedagogue and digital education specialist.
  • Carme Trinidad, psychologist and neuroeducation expert.

The session will include a theoretical part (context and challenges) and a practical workshop with classroom resources.

Dates and locations:

  • 06/02: Sant Cugat Campus (Room P0A01) - 3:30-5:30 pm
  • 06/17: Barcelona Campus (A302) - 3:30-5:30 pm
