Doctoral School

The Doctoral school was founded as a response to the university’s governing bodies aim to consolidate UIC Barcelona as a benchmark university for educating research staff. The UIC Barcelona Doctoral School is part of the Vice-rector for Research, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer and is responsible for organising, coordinating and supervising the teaching programmes that lead to obtaining a doctorate from Universitat Internacional de Catalunya.

The Universitat Internacional de Catalunya doctoral school was founded as a response to the university’s governing bodies aim to consolidate UIC Barcelona as a benchmark university for educating research staff.

The main objectives are:

  1. Ensuring the high quality and excellence of doctoral theses.
  2. Guaranteeing that doctoral students receive comprehensive training in different aspects of research and critical thought.
  3. Instilling an ethical perspective on research in line with Christian Humanism.
