IMMA Communication Awards 2025

Faculty of Communication Sciences

The fifteenth edition of the IMMA Communication Awards, the most important annual event of the Faculty of Communication Sciences at UIC Barcelona, will take place on 8 May at 12 p.m. This year, the theme of the university competition is “mental health among university students”, a pressing issue for civil society that has gained increasing visibility and importance in recent years.

The awards are open to both current and former students of UIC Barcelona, who are invited to present their projects to a panel of professional judges: Cristina Smandia, Marketing and Communications Coordinator at CaixaFòrum and Fundación La Caixa; Micaela Ruiz, director of photography; and Lucía Sanagustín, journalist at RTVE. Berta Loran, creative director at Malrov, and Andrea Lastra, psychotherapist at SUPPORT Clinic and lecturer at UIC Barcelona, will join the jury for the special category.The aim of this competition is to recognise creativity and innovation among future communicators, and to help launch their professional and artistic careers.
