Buddy Programme

The Buddy Programme is a mentorship initiative for international students embarking on their exchange journey at UIC Barcelona. 

It was set up with a dual purpose: to help exchange students adjust more easily and quickly to the UIC Barcelona system and life in Barcelona, and to enable local students to improve their soft skills through intercultural foreign language exchanges.

Above all, the Buddy Programme aims to foster a network of friendships between people from all corners of the globe.

Every semester, the Department of International Relations organises interactive workshops to get to know the students, and give them a chance to interact in a relaxed and fun atmosphere, while at the same time learning about Catalan culture. 

International students will receive more information about the programme and how to sign up once they have been accepted for their exchange semester at UIC Barcelona. Before the semester starts, there will be a webinar where we will dedicate a section to the Buddy Programme and answer all your questions.
