Welcome Session

In September and January, we greet all international exchange students with a very special session known as the “Welcome Session”.

This activity takes place over two days.

Day 1: Institutional Presentation

We greet all international students who are starting the academic year or semester on the corresponding campus: Barcelona or Sant Cugat, depending on the students’ area of study.

Content of the session:

  • Academic issues
  • Accommodation and transport
  • International Relations team
  • University services
  • Student introductions
  • Group photos and video
  • Coffee break and other recreational activities
  • Campus tour

Day 2: Workshop

  • "Catalan for Dummies": learn the Catalan language
  • Cultural workshop: get to know more about how to adapt to a new culture and city, and make new friends

Day 3: Barcelona city tour

  • A tour by bus and foot in the city, with official tour guides who will explain everything you need to know about Barcelona
