Chair in Management by Missions and Corporate Purpose

The Chair of Management by Missions and Corporate Purpose belongs to the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of UIC Barcelona. It is directed by Dr Carlos Rey and Dr Miquel Bastons.

Management by Missions is a model of management and organisation of companies based on people, their motivations, their values and the sense of transcendence of their actions. This translates into a system of governance and organisation that integrates the mission into management systems and promotes commitment among members of the company.

The DPMC Foundation collaborates in the organisation of the Chair's activities by promoting the development and dissemination of Management by Missions.

Companies from different sectors, that are particularly sensitive to the involvement of their staff in the company's mission, collaborate and sponsor the Chair’s activities.
