The Bosch Aymerich Foundation is launching their new FBA Fellows programme, which aims to attract scientific talent to the initiative’s two beneficiary organisations, the first being UIC Barcelona and the second, the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST). Each organisation will hire three fellows to work as researchers and teachers over the next three years.

Dr Toni Mora, vice-rector for research at UIC Barcelona and director of the Research Institute for Evaluation and Public Policies, presented the paper Do consumers respond to “sin taxes” heterogeneously? New evidence from the tax on sugary drinks using longitudinal scanner data on 24 May at the second Catalan Economic Society Conference, held at the Institute for Catalan Studies.
This award recognises excellence in the field of health economics, and led to an article being published in the journal Health Economics.
The lecturer represents the Association for Health Economics on this Board.
