Aimed at undergraduate students in Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering or related disciplines with a good level of English.

Presentation
This summer course aims to immerse students in the fascinating world of bioengineering and its real-life applications in healthcare, cosmetics and technology. The programme combines lectures, hands-on workshops, and company visits to provide a global vision of how engineering, biology and innovation come together to improve human health and wellbeing.

- Seminar: Story structures (classic vs. contemporary).
- Workshop: Developing characters, voices and arcs.
- Practical session: Writing a short script or storyboard for multimedia content.

- Tissue engineering and regenerative medicine
- Afternoon: Cultural activity
- Wednesday 15 July 2026
- Morning: 3D printing and bioprinting
- Afternoon: Company visit

Prerequisites & admissions
This course is open to international and local undergraduate or graduate students
The programme will be taught entirely in English. Non-native students must have at least a B2 level of English.
Admissions process
Apply for a spot in our UIC Barcelona Summer Programme by completing the online application before 15 April 2026.
The following documents must be attached to the form:
- Official transcript of records
- Passport or identity document
- Non-native speakers must submit proof of having at least a B2 level of English or equivalent
Course confirmation and tuition fee payment
Following the application period, we will inform you whether your place has been confirmed.
Once your place has been confirmed, you must make the corresponding payment before 30 April 2026.
UIC Barcelona reserves the right to cancel a course if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
Cancellation Policy
The course cancellation policy is specified in the payment form; therefore, it is recommended to read it carefully before completing the payment.
