Course objectives
This Clinical Residency is an introduction to the Master’s dynamics of diagnosis and clinical work.
Presentation
Course description
Orthodontics is a speciality of dentistry that requires a specific and full-time three-year postgraduate training (Master’s), as established in the standards of the European Society of Orthodontics (EOS-NEBEOP).
At Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, the Orthodontics area complies with all the requirements and is accredited as a Full Member of NEBEOP.
Nowadays, more and more professionals choose to specialise in Orthodontics. For this reason, parallel to the Master in Orthodontics that is taught in the UIC, which requires exclusive dedication during three years, we have designed the programme Clinical Residency in Orthodontics. This programme has a very clinical focus and is aimed at dentists who look to go into orthodontics, both as additional knowledge for their work, or as a preliminary step to make follow the course to study for the formal specialisation in orthodontics.
The Clinical Residency programme is eminently practical. For students to experience the day-to-day practice of orthodontics at the university. Participating in theory sessions, clinical sessions and the treatment of patients at the university clinic.
