Presentation
Composite laminates are primarily designed to enhance a patient’s smile by improving the color and/or shape of their teeth. Traditionally, these restorations have been fabricated through a manual layering technique, which can be time-consuming and highly dependent on clinical skill.
The composite injection technique offers a more efficient and predictable alternative. This method uses a digitally planned and 3D-printed or silicone template through which a flowable composite is injected directly onto the tooth. By accurately transferring the digital design to the patient, clinicians can achieve predictable aesthetic results with greater efficiency and consistency. As a result, composite injection has become a trusted alternative to conventional layering techniques.
This course provides dentists with the knowledge and practical skills to confidently perform high-quality aesthetic restorations using the composite injection technique, from digital planning to final finishing, achieving predictable outcomes through an efficient clinical workflow.
