Programme structure
Students complete the first four years at UIC Barcelona (Bachelor’s Degree) and the fifth year at Lancaster University (Master’s Degree).
Upon completion, students receive a double qualification: the official Spanish undergraduate degree and the Master’s Degree in Global Media and Society, an internationally recognised qualification.
The programme is designed to provide advanced specialisation and prepare students to take on leadership roles in global media. This master's degree equips graduates to work in diverse roles, from being journalists for general and international media to policy managers, academic researchers, or educators.
